This video was filmed a little while back, and I asked my sister for her opinion on the new fan. She said: "A little on the louder side, but not too loud. It doesn't bother me. It keeps moisture out great."
I have to say this was one of the lesser fun repairs. Any time you are working on the ceiling, that is already a strike against it.
