Door panels were ordered too wide for the existing opening size and proper hinge function. This can happen when your having the kitchen remodeled or when the cabinets are being refaced.
Ideally, you want both panels to articulate away from the opening and flatten against the cabinetry.
The solution for this customer was to reorder a new (left) door panel to be 3/4" narrower.
